** WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS HOME **

In 2014 I wanted to do a Proof of Concept on my Short-Term Rental idea.
I put an ad in VRBO – and I got a lot of inquiries ( a few hundred rather quickly too ) – I had rental posted at $ 8,500.00 week. I rented it for one week to a Doctor and a Lawyer; their Children were in an all-Girls World-Wide Fastpitch Softball Tournament.
Everything went exactly as expected!! Well, except one of the teenagers unplugged a freezer (that was in the three car garage) to plug in an Xbox – and, she forgot to plug it back in .. We lost quite a bit of Omaha Steaks (they got us replacements)…
Since then, we’ve had the Siegel-Schwall Blues Band here three times !! Their Drummer, Sam Lay, was Bob Dylan’s first drummer on his first album. Sam is on the Blues Hall of Fame, the Rock and Country Hall of Fame too. Corky & Holy Siegel, Rollo, Sambo, Sam Lay and Jim Schwall… We’ve hosted Tanya Tucker’s very own Jake Clayton with Rob Daniels…
So, proof of concept worked !!
Now, to fix the place up some more, add a few more additions and update all the bathrooms with live-edge counters and custom sinks, showers and steam room.. We purchased an Acre from our Neighbor to build an indoor arena and stable for three horses. We fenced three acres with a very nice and very durable six-foot steel fence with tips – we don’t want wild animals jumping over the fence. Inside of this area, we make another secure area for our cat !!
We want to sell it Furnished; the Furniture is Scandinavian and Custom Mountain
The Fireplaces came from Scandinavia – they are extremely efficient – one fire in the middle of winter, and you have to open a few windows, a little… And, there’s absolutely nothing better than a Fireplace Burning with the Windows Open and the Fresh Mountain Air – crisp, clean – nothing better..
